Decking

Auckland's mix of sun, rain and salt air is tough on timber decking. Left untreated, most decks turn grey and patchy within a year or two, and rarely evenly — shaded corners grow mould and algae while sun-exposed boards dry out and fade. We use a controlled, low-pressure technique suited to your deck's timber type and condition, lifting built-up grime, mould and grey weathering without blasting the wood or leaving the patchy wand marks that come from rushing the job.

The goal is always the same: get your deck back as close to its original colour as possible, without damaging the timber in the process. That means working with the grain, adjusting pressure for softer or older boards, and paying attention to the gaps between boards where moss and debris like to build up. Once it's done, your deck is either ready to enjoy as-is or ready for a fresh coat of oil or stain — and either way, it'll actually hold, since you're not applying it over years of grime.
